Ein Fleck auf der Landkarte, umschlungen von Salzwasser, Meerjungfrauen, Robben und bestimmt auch Kaiserhummern. Wo der Wind über die Wüste saust und wer genau hinhört, der hört ihn uralte Geschichten erzählen von Werwölfen, Hexen, Zwergen und Räuberbanden.
 
Eine Insel, so isoliert, dass Luftverschmutzung nicht existiert, und die Mengen an essbaren Beeren, Pflanzen und Wurzeln ganz einzigartig sind. Es gibt einen Ort, wo Tausende Wachholderbüsche wachsen. Wo der Regen vom Wüstensand gefiltert und so zum vielleicht reinsten und weichsten Trinkwasser der Welt wird.
 
Anholt – klein und schüchtern, aber auch rau und prächtig. Eine Insel, wo die Natur den Rahmen setzt, wo Ruhe und Nachdenklichkeit Hand in Hand gehen mit dem Brausen der stürmischen See – und wo ein Mann lieber zu wenig sagt als zu viel.&nbsp;
 
Alle das haben wir mit viel Liebe in eine Flasche gegossen. Als Tribut an Anholt und denen, die leben.

Anholt Gin - Kattegat

En ny Anholt Gin. En toér. 4 Botanicals: Friske enebær, koriander, kvanrod og citronskal.

I fordums tid. Længe inden menneskets ankomst, var øen Anholt grøn og der var endnu ingen ørken. En lille skovklædt forhøjning midt i Kattegat. Et isoleret og frodigt paradis. Dengang, som nu, boede der en skabning på øen, hvis fremtoning vil få hårene til at rejse sig på de fleste. Øen Anholt, den lille isolerede plet på kortet, huser nemlig Sandørentvisten (Labidura Riparia).

Den sagnomspundne Sandørentvist, i folkemunde kaldt ”Anholt-Skorpionen”, er et helt særligt dyr. Det er den største af de 5 ørentvist-arter, der findes i Europa og i Danmark bor den kun på Anholt. Den kan blive op til 4 cm lang og er således afbilledet i korrekt størrelse på Anholt Gin flasken.

Der findes mange, lange historier om Sandørentvisten, der ikke alle skal nævnes her. Dog må det nævnes, at der er forskel på form og størrelse af Sandørentvistens ”tang”. Hunnens tang er mindre en hannens tang og hunnen kikker efter hanner med den største tang når det er tid, at finde en mage. Der er også den finurlighed, at hannen har 2 penisser, der kan bruges i flæng. Det forholder sig dog sådan at ca. 90 % af hannerne er højrehåndede, hvorfor de fortrinsvis bruger den højre penis.

Hidtil har det været Han-ørentvisten, der har prydet den klassiske Anholt Gin flaske. Indholdet i flasken er lavet på tørrede enebær på traditionel og klassisk facon.

Arctic Blue Gin is all about experiencing the harmony of the exceptional northern nature. Because we don’t believe in chill-filtering our spirits, all of the natural aromas, pectins and essential oils of bilberries – the wild Arctic blueberries – are preserved in our gin. This is why it turns into an elegant cloudy white shade when topped with tonic water.

The scent is an aromatic combination of fragrant spruces and bilberry shrubs. The distinguished flavour has elegant notes of juniper, bilberries (the wild Arctic blueberries), coniferous forest and spices.

Colourless, dry, warm, juniper berry notes, wild berry notes, light cardamom notes, hint of pine. Handcrafted in Ilomantsi, North-Karelia.

“A gin made to gin lovers. Intense, aromatic and with spicy aromas”. 

Circus Gin “This Is Me” is a spicy and aromatic small batch gin, which with its light freshness as well as round and soft body - gives a delicate and tasteful gin tonic or as an ingredient in a cocktail, where it provides an elegant taste of cardamom, juniper, black pepper, lime and vanilla. 

Botanicals: Juniper, cardamom, Tonga beans, licorice root, cinnamon, angelica root, buckthorn, dried orange peel, lime, elderflower. 

In total, Circus Gin contains 13 different botanical plants, but some of them are kept secret.

When researching for the perfect recipe for a ‘new generation gin’ I discovered that the geranium plant had been used for centuries for healing purposes against depression and fatique along with juniper, coriander and lemon which are the base ingredients of almost every gin. And when my chemist father made the chemical analysis of the geranium we found that the same essential oils were present in most fruits, berries and spices that are being used for making gin based cocktails. And combining my knowledge within gin with my fathers chemical skills we achieved to create this recipe for what became one of the worlds highest rated gins.

- Distilled from 100% pure grain spirit made of the best English wheat

Circus Gin – The one 

“Some say less is more. A gin with a very light juniper taste. Smooth and with great citrus”.

An elegant, aromatic and well-balanced gin. Refreshing and with a light taste of juniper berries makes it easy to enjoy for any occasion. The focus is on fresh orange and lemon peels with a twist of fresh lemon balm. 
Botanicals: Juniper, angelica root, lemon peels, lime, buckthorn, dried orange peel, coriander, lemon balm, elderflower. 

In total, Circus Gin contains 13 different botanical plants, but some of them are kept secret.

Rammstein Gin is an aromatic Dry Gin offering a vibrant blend of Botanicals using juniper, coriander, angelica root and lemon peel. Not so much a "Feier frei" kind of spirit but definitely an "Ohne dich kann ich nicht sein" type of gin. The perfect base for refreshing G&T on any other gin cocktail enjoyed on ice and in good company.
