Barrel aged Kyrö Dark Gin is the perfect union of rye, locally sourced botanicals and American white oak cask maturation. This unusual dark gin also has a lot of whisky drinking fans. Kyrö Dark Gin is aged in small American oak barrels for approximately three months and fine-tuned with freshly distilled orange peel and black pepper that complement the vanilla from the barrel and the heat from the rye.&nbsp;
 
Kyrö Dark gin, formerly known as Koskue, has won numerous international awards; Silver in 2019 and Outstanding Silver in 2017 in IWSC and Gold Medal from 2017 San Francisco World Spirit Competition.

Kyrö Pink Gin is a traditionally made small batch gin. It’s infused with foraged lingonberries, strawberries &amp; rhubarb – the best of Finnish forests and gardens. A pink gin made to be equally enjoyed by everyone. Pink Gin gets the pink colour from natural ingredients like strawberry and rhubarb, and with time the colour might fade. This does not affect the taste or quality of Kyrö Pink Gin. Try Kyrö Pink Gin with soda or tonic and lots of ice.
 
In the taste you find: Sweetish, soft, smooth, berry notes, juniper berry.
Drink Pink with Fever-Tree tonic, slice of pink grapefruit and plenty of ice.

Wie der Kyrö Napue besitzt auch Koskue Gin eine Basis aus Roggen, die etwas charakterstärker als das sonst übliche Weizendestillat ausfällt. In sogenannten Small Barrels, gelagert in kleinen Fässern, wird Koskue Gin für einige Zeit einer Holzfasslagerung unterzogen, deren Aromen sich gemeinsam mit den Botanicals zu einem ganz und gar außerordentlichen Geschmacksbild verbinden. Birke und Mädesüß, Cranberries und die Schalen von Orangen werden frisch destilliert und nochmalig einem Brennvorgang mit dem Roggen Destillat unterzogen.

Koskue Barrel Aged Gin ist ein gelungenes Exemplar der Kyrö Destillerie, das mit beeindruckenden Eichen- und Orangennoten aufwartet, die durch Mädesüß einen süß-blumigen Hauch von Sommer im Duft transportieren aber auch typische Holzfassnoten wie Honig und Eiche mit einer pfeffrigen Würze und einem erfrischenden, süßen Orangengeschmack. Kyrö Koskue Barrel Aged Gin

Sherry x Koskue is complex and delicious rye gin, aged in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, which give the gin a raisiny and nutty flavor.

It is designed to be a sipping gin. Enjoy with or without ice. Works well mixed with ginger ale as well.

CASK AGED GIN IS THE RESULT OF SHARED INSPIRATION WITH OUR FRIENDS AT THE TEELING DISTILLERY.

This gin is inspired by Irish influences and aged in Teeling Whiskey barrels. Our friends at the Teeling Distillery share our passion of creating daring new experiences and flavours. 
We casked our spirit to each other's casks and this time, the result is Kyrö x Teeling Cask Aged Gin. It is a mellow gin with distilled Guinness and blackberries. In the meanwhile small batch of Irish Whiskey aged in our Kyrö Dark Gin barrels in the Teeling premises. Keep an eye for that other Small Batch special release.

Kyrö x Teeling Cask aged gin is the second collaboration product made for the Kyrö x Friends -series.

TASTE PROFILE

In the nose you'll find: Irish whiskey, cream, apple, grilled marshmallow, juniper, vanilla, blackberry.

On the palate you'll find: creamy start with hints of Irish whiskey. Malty, dry oak, juniper, bittery finish with lingering dark berries and cayenne pepper burn.

HOW COULD YOU EXPRESS HELSINKI IN A GIN? WITH BARTENDERS FROM THE FINNISH CAPITAL, WE SET OUT ON A JOURNEY TO FIND OUT.

We chose wild chamomile (also known as pineapple weed) as the signature botanical. It grows all over Helsinki: in parks, sidewalks and in the cracks of concrete.

Helsingin is a gin inspired by Helsinki, capital city of Finland. It is made from 100% Finnish wholegrain rye with foraged pineapple weed (wild chamomile) and polypody root. No bartenders were lost in the forest during foraging. Enjoy with quality tonic and a slice of pink grapefruit.

FOR THE ANNIVERSARY OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN JAPAN AND FINLAND WE DECIDED TO EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE IN GIN BLENDING WITH KYOTO DISTILLERY.
 
We sent the best and closely chosen herbs from Finland to Japan, and received a happy surprise from Kyoto Distillery in exchange. Together with The Kyoto Distillery, we developed a gin to toast for the 100 years of diplomacy between Japan and Finland. The result is a gin inspired by the harmony of Japanese and Finnish nature, for which both distilleries selected the best of their local botanicals and then married the flavors.
 
KYRÖ x KI NO BI is distilled &amp; bottled by Kyrö Distillery company. It is the first collaboration gin made for Kyrö Distillery’s Kyrö x Friends -series.
 
TASTE PROFILE:
In the nose you'll find: yuzu lemon, blackcurrant leaves, sea weed, raspberry soup. Floral and piny.
On the palate you'll find: sour citrus, oil, pepper. Piny and salty with violet winegum finish.

Kyrö x Ki No Bi Gin

Helsinki Sailor’s Gin’s strong taste comes from hand-picked, carefully selected spices and Finnish lingonberries. Helsinki Sailor’s Gin has a potent bouquet of juniper and citrus and is thus excellent for cocktails.

Helsinki Sailor’s Gin uses the same botanicals as the award-winning Helsinki Dry Gin, but the ratio has been amended to better suit the higher alcohol content. In addition to Finnish lingonberries, aromatic juniper berries from the Balkan and Mediterranean lemon and Seville orange peel give the gin its distinctive taste. Other spices include fennel, coriander, iris, root of angelica and a hint of rose petals.

Although Helsinki Sailor’s Gin is especially well suited for cocktails and other concoctions, it is also great on its own. The most classic of the navy strength gin cocktails is probably Pink Gin, in which Helsinki Sailor’s gin fits like a mainsail on a boom. It also makes a wonderful Gin & Tonic

The blue label highlights the connection with sea and sailors. The model for the rudder on the label comes from Suomen Joutsen, perhaps the most famous ship in Finnish naval history.

Helsinki Barrel Aged Gin is an artisanal, premium gin aged few months in American Oak casks. Like its sibling, the Helsinki Dry Gin, it is distilled with eight choicest hand-picked botanicals including the Arctic lingonberry. After maturation in wood, the gin is blended with the purest Finnish water. Helsinki Barrel Aged Gin is full-tasting and balanced, with aromas of the Nordic forest and smooth cask finish.

The smooth taste and golden color of Helsinki Barrel Aged Gin is a result of resting the gin in wood. The botanicals used are Finnish lingonberries, rich Balkan juniper and Seville orange and lemon peels together with fennel and coriander seeds, Orris and Angelica roots.

Helsinki Barrel Aged Gin is excellent to be sipped as a stand alone or with an espresso like grappa. It is wonderful in a Gin & Tonic and works perfectly as a basis for any gin cocktails. Some say it is a whiskey lover’s gin!
