To make this exclusive, small-batch Gin we foraged a huge number of botanicals from the Wicklow coast, forests and mountainside with Clodagh. The result was the creation of this deliciously spicy gin available exclusively in Tesco (Ireland). A chance meeting at a Taste the Emerald Isle event in London resulted in the release of our Glendalough Gin by Clodagh McKenna. Both Clodagh and ourselves at Glendalough Distillery were representing the best of Irish produce at the Irish themed event in London. We got to talk about all things wild and foraged and together we hatched a plan. Clodagh would come foraging in the garden of Ireland, Co. Wicklow, and together we would make a bespoke Gin. Just three weeks later Clodagh was foraging in the mountains, along the hedgerows and by the sea in Co. Wicklow perfecting her Glendalough Gin botanical recipe.
