The production of this gin takes place in Brazil. It is distilled in a small copper pot still, with each batch limited to less than 500 liters. Two different distillation methods are used: maceration and steam infusion.
Maceration: 15 botanicals are mixed with 60% alcohol and soaked for 24 hours so that the alcohol can extract the aromatic substances and essential oils.
Steam infusion: Concentrated vapors pass through a copper basket with the remaining 6 botanicals (“Signature” botanicals). Essential oils from these botanicals combine with the macerated alcohol and thus result in this unique gin.
6 signature botanicals: basil leaves, rosemary, fennel seeds, calamondin oranges, star anise, açai
15 premium botanicals: juniper berries, coriander seeds, lemongrass, violet roots, guava, angelica roots, orange peel, jasmine, lemon peel, cucumber, rose petals, pomelo peel, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg
Bouquet: citrus, herbal and floral hints, roasted spices, later develop further notes that are reminiscent of sorrel.
Palate: Soft, the scent can be found 1: 1 on the palate, very subtle juniper tones and wonderful sugar cane sweetness.
