Old Tom (an "Old Black Cat") comes from the wooden cats figures that sat on the wall outside of some pubs in London in the 18th century. By putting a penny in the cat's mouth, you got a shot of gin out of the cat’s paw. The gin is made from the same distilled gin as our Classic Gin but with a little bit more extra juniper. We also added some sweetness after the distillation, as you always do with your Old Tom Gin. The sweetness elevates the flavors and gives the gin more taste and makes it smoother.
