A refreshing dry gin from the desert country Namibia with devil's claw, a medicinal plant that grows in the south-eastern part of Namibia and a unique character with elegant juniper notes and stimulating explosive citrus nuances. The basic alcohol is dehydrated from dates and fermented. The mash and the distilled alcohol are distilled six times before the alcohol is filtered. By maceration and distillation three different basic spirits are produced. The classic Wacholder spirit with Java pepper and cardamom, the spice spirit with cinnamon, ginger, lavender, rosemary, peppermint and devil's claw and the citrus spirit from oranges, lemons and limes. After several weeks of rest, the NamGin acquires its unique characteristic through the combination of the three basic spirits.
Serving suggestion: slightly chilled, pure in a gourmet grappa glass with an espresso and dark chocolate or classic as gin & tonic with a cucumber-based tonic in a longdrink glass.
