Basilisk Old Tom Gin
+ Swiss Mountain Spring Smoked Orange Ginger Ale

The Basilisk Old Tom Gin mainly contains botanicals known from Basel cuisine. The typical sweetness is given to the Basilisk Old Tom by the addition of birch sugar. The classic spices from Basel cuisine such as clove, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg can also be found here. The floral note comes from the hibiscus flower. Tasting note: In the nose, the aromas of cloves, cinnamon and cardamom, paired with the floral note of the hibiscus, are clearly noticeable. On the palate, the Basilisk Old Tom Gin is soft and sweet.
The lovely note in connection with the floral aromas create a perfect taste profile with a harmonious finish. Drink recommendation: For those who love sweeter gin and tonic, a flavored tonic, such as e.g. a tonic with elderflower. For those who prefer the classic style, we recommend serving an Extra Dry Tonic. For a slightly spicier taste, we recommend ginger beer.

The Basilisk Old Tom Gin was named the world's best Old Tom Gin on February 27, 2020 in London. We are incredibly proud that we were the first Swiss to receive the world championship title in this category.
