BCN GiN has a completely different taste than a typical dry gin. It is very balanced, long in the aftertaste with intense Mediterranean flavors and a complex range of flavors.
It can be enjoyed pure, as a digestive, gin & tonic or in a cocktail.
BOTANICALS
The essence of locally blooming juniper, rosemary, fennel, pine sprouts, lemongrass earth extracted and especially figs and the combination of these botanicals from the remote Priorat mountains with lemon and orange peel from the southern Mediterranean of Catalonia.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
First, the best skins of DOQ Priorat wines are selected and distilled to preserve the essence of the flavors of these famous wines.
The freshly cut botanicals are macerated in water and schnapps. After a while, it is distilled to create a concentration of herbs that form the basis of this gin.
This base is diluted with alcohol and water and then shaken vigorously, followed by a period of rest for months. The water is used from the natural Mas Baboixos spring, which rises deep in the shale layers, the typical soil of the Priorat countries.
Every ingredient and part of the process is 100% natural.
