City of London Distillery Christopher Wren Gin is inspired by the architect behind an icon of the City: St Paul's Cathedral, which also shapes the bottle design. Originally the result of a collaboration between the distillery's first Master Distiller, Jonathan Clark, and the then Master Distiller of Tanqueray, Tom Nicholls, this gin represents a traditional London dry expression. The approach is minimalist- just 5 botanicals work together to create a surprisingly layered and complex gin. Soft juniper and candied orange on the nose, botanical sweetness on the palate with underlying floral notes, with a lingering earthy finish and pleasant oily texture from the orange. The medals awarded to this gin have resulted in international recognition for the City of London Distillery brand, gaining global popularity.
