The discovery in Madrid of an ancient manuscript wrote by Felipe II´s physician was the beginning of the adventure of the M.D. and botanist Martín Sessé, one of the most important scientific expeditions to the "New World" of all times, Martín Sessé´s expedition cataloged 2,500 unknown plants, and brought to europe about 200 new genders.
Some of these new botanicals, like sweet potato or pumpkin seeds, coriander, has been included in our Gin recipe as a homage to Martín Sessé.
