Two guys from New Zealand who didn't know each other until one married the other's sister and then they did. Sitting in bars and lounges for a year discussing how they always wanted to make their own gin. So two brothers-in-law and a part-time musician went into debt and created a gin that went gold in London and San Francisco.
Scapegrace Dry Gin is made from spring water from the Southern Alps of New Zealand and 12 botanicals.
Botanicals: juniper, cardamom, coriander, orris root, lemon and orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
Tasting Notes: Floral and fruity aromas. The lemon stands out very much. Wonderful notes of citrus, oranges and spices unfold on the palate. In the background, juniper berries are always present.
