St. Laurent Gin is a breath of salt-sea air, of powerful herbaceous and floral notes interspersed by a pine aroma reminiscent of the Quebec boreal forest. It’s a complex gin born of an unlikely union of spices hailing from the four corners of the globe and seaweed of the St. Lawrence River.
Distilled in small batches in Rimouski, St. Laurent Gin is an authentic all-natural hand-crafted gin. After a steam infusion of exotic spices in a custom designed gin-basket, our gin is slowly macerated with laminaria seaweed hand-harvested in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.

Each month, a tiny part of our St. Laurent Gin production is transferred to ex-whisky casks. After resting for more than a year in oak barrels, our famous Gin infused with laminaria seaweed becomes St. Laurent Gin Vieux.
The distinctive aromas of St. Laurent Gin are rediscovered in a whole new light: herbaceous and floral notes interspersed with pine aromas reminiscent of Quebec's boreal forest. Time then leave its mark: grain and woody notes brought by the ex-whisky barrel-ageing enrich the aromatic complexity of the liquid. The finish stays true to St. Laurent Gin’s signature: a slight marine saltiness thanks to the maceration of laminaria seaweed harvested in the St. Lawrence River.

Tasting Notes:
Lime, honeydew melon and green grape distillates, added to romeo's gin and its aromas of juniper, cucumber, lavender, dill, lemon and almond, make romeo's gin V a surprisingly fresh gin. A taste loaded with citrus, with fruity and racy notes, transcending the vegetal signature character of romeo's gin.

Romeo's Gin V

This gin has a juniper-driven nose, with lemon zest, citrus and floral notes. Very complex. It has a round mouthfeel, with a pleasant warming spiciness, with anise and white pepper. This gin helped Steinhart be accepted into the London Gin Guild; a rare honour for a North American distiller. It is a great gin for a classic Gin and Tonic enthusiast. The special edition blue bottle is definitely a keeper!

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Lemon, honeysuckle, juniper, rosewater, lavender, jasmine, sandalwood, grass, herbs, spice cake, spices, clove, cinnamon, stone, pine.
Palate: Lemon, lime, orange, marmalade, ginger cake, red apple, blossoms, violet, herbal, dried flowers, lemongrass, grassy, juniper, anise, pepper, white pepper, spicy, pine.
Finish: Lemon, sweet citrus, orange peel, floral, sandalwood, mint, coriander, juniper, spices, light mineral, talc, strong, smooth.
