1919 produzierten die Bodegas Suau einen handgemachten Gin mit lokalen Zutaten, wie einheimischen Feigen, Rosmarin und Soller-Orangen. Mehrere Tage in Alkohol eingeweicht werden Teile der Orangen im eigenen Destilliergeräten destilliert um die verschiedenen Aromen zu extrahieren.

Dieses Verfahren wird dreimal durchgeführt bis die gewünschte Zusammensetzung und Reinheit der Mischung erreicht ist. Wenn die Mischung erreicht ist, reift sie 3 Monate in amerikanischen weißen Eichenfässern um ein ausgewogenes und in allen Phasen angemessenes Produkt zu erreichen.

BOTANICALS

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
First, the best skins of DOQ Priorat wines are selected and distilled to preserve the essence of the flavors of these famous wines.
The freshly cut botanicals are macerated in water and schnapps. After a while, it is distilled to create a concentration of herbs that form the basis of this gin.
This base is diluted with alcohol and water and then shaken vigorously, followed by a period of rest for months. The water is used from the natural Mas Baboixos spring, which rises deep in the shale layers, the typical soil of the Priorat countries.

Every ingredient and part of the process is 100% natural.
