Stranger & Sons is a contemporary Indian Gin, the debut spirit from Third Eye Distillery in Goa. Crafted with inherently Indian botanicals including a unique citrus peel mix and warm spices such as pepper, mace and nutmeg, it’s distilled using the single shot method in a precision iStill.
The ‘Stranger’ is a nod to the wonderful Indian strangeness that is the invisible essence captured in the bottle for a curious and discerning consumer. Founded by three family members, the ‘& Sons’ is an ode to traditional family-owned businesses that are inherited by each generation and a tribute to the entrepreneurial spirit inherent in most Indians.

Tasting Notes & Signature Serves:
Owing to its unique botanical makeup, this gin is a three-dimensional spirit, which highlights each botanical in the gin and reveals new layers on the nose and palate with each sip.
Heady on the nose – The citrus peels (Indian Bergamot, Indian Lime, Nagpur Oranges & Gondhoraj) shine the brightest here and gives the gin a beautiful freshness on the front palate Mid palate – A flourish of warm spices including black pepper, mace, nutmeg and coriander give it a strong, spiced middle.
Aftertaste – Smooth, earthy and sweet finish owing to liquorice, cassia bark and mace Signature serves include fresh, flavourful Gimlets & aromatic, layered Gibsons which are also a homage to India’s pickling and cordialling culture. The Strange G&T heroes an ingredient that is found in every kitchen in India - a slice of ginger, which brings out the balance of the botanicals in the gin, resulting in a refreshing thirst-quencher.

Stranger & Sons was declared one of the 8 best Gins in the world and awarded a Gold-Outstanding medal by the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2020.
The Gin also bagged Gold medals at Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2019, Berlin International Spirits Competition in 2020 and most recently this year, at The Drinks Business and The Spirits Business Spring Tasting 2021 and The Drinks Business Asia Summer Tasting 2021.
