Tobermory's first limited-edition gin, the Mountain Gin, is smooth, rich and gently sweet. Inspired by the mountains with wild purple heather on our island, this award-winning gin uses botanicals like tea from the Hebrides, wild heather and a splash of our very own spirit from the Tobermory whiskey stills.
Inspired by the grandiose and mountainous landscape of Mull, the gin on the island is distilled with rowanberry, rose hip and heather, which adorns the country in purple in the summer months.
Together with a shot of strong spirits from the whiskey still, this gin with its fragrant and sweet notes is really an artistic expression of our wild and naturally colorful homeland.
Flavors
Nose: A refreshing lemon at the beginning, followed by sweet juniper and a slight hint of coriander and spices.
Taste: Rich, creamy mouthfeel, sweet, lemony rose hip with a bitter balance of rowan berries, floral hints of heather and a warming ginger spice.
Finish: Lemon and rowan berries are left behind, but are rounded off with the sweetness of rose hip and a gentle ginger spice.
