The fermentation of a mixture of grain and water creates a liquid that is distilled four times in a pot still, this is the basis of all Forest Dry Gins. The botanicals and fruits are macerated and distilled separately. Finally, we mix the distilled plants and fruits with our basic spirit using the same method. Mix for a couple of weeks to create the perfect marriage between the essential oils in the botanicals and the basic grain spirit.

A predominant juniper flavor is typical of all Forest Dry gins, but each season of the year will have its own gin flavored with the seasonal botanicals. None of the Forest Dry Gins is sweetened. The expertise of the master distiller, the fact that they only work with low profit stills and only use locally produced organic ingredients, gives Forest Dry Gin a soft and rounded taste.

FOREST DRY VALENTINE GIN, on the basis of 15 aphrodisiac herbs, is produced with fresh herbs, elderflowers & woodland strawberries that are homegrown and harvested on our farm – 100% biological. Forest Spirits Gins first macerate and then distill them – arranging the herbs in two layers at the top of the still boiler to produce extra intense aromas.

Once the have brought the gin to the desired proof with mild grain alcohol, Forest Spirits let it rest for several weeks to marry the distinctive aromas and flavours.

"The S72 ‘Legend’ Gin has been an established value in the world of gin since 2017. Six years later, the delicacy that sprang from the brain of ten-time world motocross champion Stefan Everts gets a completely new look: a bottle in the shape of the number 1.

The flavor – violet – has long been in the taste. But the eye also wants something. Stefan Everts had been toying with the idea of a new, striking bottle for some time. The ball really started rolling when he sat down with designer Troy Lee. The ten-time world champion, who had already worked with the designer in his career as a motocross racer, asked the American to design a new bottle. Troy Lee came up with the idea of a bottle in the shape of the number 1.
