Back to the roots, with a little twist...
Dry Bene Gin goes back to what gin originally was: a clear distillate with juniper in the foreground, followed by fresh citrus fruits and a light earthy note of angelica and iris roots.
If you pull the copper-colored cork out of the bottle, the connoisseur is immediately presented with this unique bouquet. And then comes the twist that makes Dry Bene Gin stand out from the mass of classic gins: a blend of fruity sweetness, tart herbs, subtle floral notes and a touch of exotic spice.
You are reminded of an early morning in a monastery garden, dew still lies on the green, the sun sends its first warming rays. You step out of the dark, cold and damp walls of the monastery and in front of you lies a garden surrounded by juniper bushes, whose ethereal, oily scent hangs heavy in the air. Fully ripe oranges, lemons and limes grow in the protection of the monastery wall, next to a small peach tree. The ground is a carpet of irises, angelica, but also a few fragrant roses and blue lavender dots. And in the middle of the garden stands an old pear tree full of ripe, juicy fruit. A herb bed is dominated by fresh basil, which subtly blends into the scent that lies over everything.
This variety of aromas is rounded off with the spice of galangal, cardamom and nutmeg, which lingers on the palate for a long time.
And what does DRY BENE GIN taste like?
Simply unmistakably Dry Bene Gin.
The composition of this gin is dedicated to the work of the Benedictine monks in their gardens and with their distillates, their careful handling of the products of nature, their knowledge of the aromas, but also the healing active ingredients of the plants and their art of clean and careful distillation.
In this sense, the aim was to combine all botanicals harmoniously and create a new, larger whole that is more than the sum of its parts. Individual parts:
