To turn Löwen Dry Gin into a real wood gin, time and a sense of perfect timing are needed above all. The dry gin is stored in massive oak barrels in the maturation cellar of the Löwen mountain distillery. The storage lasts several months before the dry gin becomes a wood gin. The resting phase in the wooden barrels, which lasts several months, not only ensures a broad spectrum of aromas, but also gives the gin its characteristic golden-brown hue. 

Löwen Wood Gin is best enjoyed neat and at room temperature.
