The specialty of the Monkey 47 Dry Gin Barrel Cut is its additional wooden barrel maturation and the 47 hand-picked botanicals and ingredients used in the distillation. Due to the high level of craftsmanship, it is only produced once a year. It matures in extremely rare, intensely fragrant mulberry wooden barrels, which provide a wide range of aromas of the distillate. These traditional, hand-made first-fill barrels, which are slightly toasted in the southwest of Germany before being filled, are then stored in a granary from 1840 under constant climatic conditions. The result is a gin with a unique character, with an impressive variety of wood notes and a unique, deep golden yellow color. Barrel Cut is a dry gin - the fine fruit notes and the elegant hint of fine sweetness ensure a complex and multi-layered taste experience! It can be drunk pure on ice or as a monkey old fashioned
