Arctic Blue Gin is all about experiencing the harmony of the exceptional northern nature. Because we don’t believe in chill-filtering our spirits, all of the natural aromas, pectins and essential oils of bilberries – the wild Arctic blueberries – are preserved in our gin. This is why it turns into an elegant cloudy white shade when topped with tonic water.

The scent is an aromatic combination of fragrant spruces and bilberry shrubs. The distinguished flavour has elegant notes of juniper, bilberries (the wild Arctic blueberries), coniferous forest and spices.

Circus Gin “This Is Me” is a spicy and aromatic small batch gin, which with its light freshness as well as round and soft body - gives a delicate and tasteful gin tonic or as an ingredient in a cocktail, where it provides an elegant taste of cardamom, juniper, black pepper, lime and vanilla. 

Botanicals: Juniper, cardamom, Tonga beans, licorice root, cinnamon, angelica root, buckthorn, dried orange peel, lime, elderflower. 

In total, Circus Gin contains 13 different botanical plants, but some of them are kept secret.

When researching for the perfect recipe for a ‘new generation gin’ I discovered that the geranium plant had been used for centuries for healing purposes against depression and fatique along with juniper, coriander and lemon which are the base ingredients of almost every gin. And when my chemist father made the chemical analysis of the geranium we found that the same essential oils were present in most fruits, berries and spices that are being used for making gin based cocktails. And combining my knowledge within gin with my fathers chemical skills we achieved to create this recipe for what became one of the worlds highest rated gins.

Circus Gin – The one 

“Some say less is more. A gin with a very light juniper taste. Smooth and with great citrus”.

An elegant, aromatic and well-balanced gin. Refreshing and with a light taste of juniper berries makes it easy to enjoy for any occasion. The focus is on fresh orange and lemon peels with a twist of fresh lemon balm.

In total, Circus Gin contains 13 different botanical plants, but some of them are kept secret.

Rammstein Gin is an aromatic Dry Gin offering a vibrant blend of Botanicals using juniper, coriander, angelica root and lemon peel. Not so much a "Feier frei" kind of spirit but definitely an "Ohne dich kann ich nicht sein" type of gin. The perfect base for refreshing G&T on any other gin cocktail enjoyed on ice and in good company.

Elg Gin No. 1 is a crystal clear all-round gin. It is based on juniper berries, coriander seeds and Danish Carrots. The taste is dominated by the flavour of the juniper berries.

The three botanicals are distilled in different ways to achieve perfect distillates with the best possible flavour and taste. Coriander seeds in particular have many undesirable flavour elements that are removed during the distillation process. The Danish carrots are distilled once every year at the end of July.

Elg Gin No. 1 is designed to be the perfect mixer for many different cocktails, but you can also drink it neat, or “on the rocks”. It goes well with most tonic waters to create a classic gin and tonic. The G and T is opalescent due to the large amount of juniper berries.

København Navy Strength gins do not have a clear taste profile, but is most often referred to as one of the strong gins, as in order to have its name, it must have a minimum alcohol percentage of 57%, where “ordinary” gins must have an alcohol percentage much lower.

The history of Navy Strength dates back to around the beginning of the 19th century, when British sailors were to conquer and fight other countries. In order to survive the war, the sailors demanded strong alcohol. At that time, however, it was not always easy to validate the gin’s alcohol percentage, so the sailors found out that if they could set fire to the gin, they had got hold of the right product - namely the strong Navy Strength gin.

This Old English Gin is made from a 1783 recipe distilling 11 botanicals (Juniper, coriander, lemon, orange, angelica, cassia, liquorice, cinnamon, orris root, nutmeg, cardamom) in the oldest pot still being used in England at present day, called Angela or Grand Ma (named of the mother of the master distiller at that time). And made by John Dore Ltd. from some of the last British copper.
I wanted to create this unique product, being as original and true to a spirits category as possible, and yet in line with today’s requirements for high quality, environmental friendly and CO2 neutral products. And by using a traditional champagne bottle, organic sealing and silk printed label as they did in 1783, we are emphasizing the concept of how English Gin tasted and was made, named and distributed back then. 

So to taste a cocktail as it was intended, you need a Gin that hasn’t changed. Old English Gin is how it was: Truly original!

København Pink Gin a distillery making a name for itself with both classic gins and a wide range of flavoured variations, turns its eyes towards pink gin with this punchy number.

A soft pink hue belies the massive grapefruit zest nose, which softens with fruit jellies and a touch of lime. A quick neat sip shows the spirit to be smooth and creamy and the citrus aromas to be very punchy – but this isn’t a sweet gin, per se.

Suitably expanded with tonic, ice and a pink grapefruit wedge garnish, this is summer in a glass. Chase’s ability to extract indecent amounts of fresh, zesty grapefruit and pomelo peel and put them in your glass is nothing short of impressive.

Neben den klassischen Botanicals wurde der Herbie Gin Pink mit Himbeeren und Preiselbeeren destilliert. Es gibt nicht nur die schöne Farbe - es gibt eine Geschmackspalette, die weit über den Geschmack von Himbeeren und Preiselbeeren hinausgeht.

Wacholderbeeren müssen im Gin sein - sonst ist es kein Gin. Herbie Gin verwenden Wacholder von höchster Qualität für den Herbie Pink Gin. Die Himbeere ist zart und zugleich markant in Aroma und Geschmack – und genau so kommt er in diesem Gin zur Geltung. Die Preiselbeere ist meist dunkelrot und hat einen bitter-säuerlichen Geschmack. Für den Herbie Gin Pink wurde die Preiselbeere ausgewählt, da er gut mit den bitteren Noten von Wacholder und Tonic spielt. Frische Äpfel sorgen für eine perfekte Balance von Frucht, Säure und Süße.

Tasting Notes:
Geschmack: Süßer und sommerlicher Geschmack, bei dem sich Himbeeren und frische Äpfel gut abheben. Die Süße wird von Cranberries dominiert, die im Mund ein klassisch nordisches Gefühl vermitteln. Ein Gin, der auch clean genossen werden kann. Sehr sanfter Alkohol.

Nase: Der Duft des Sommers erfüllt die Nase. Köstliche Süße aus Himbeeren und Apfel, die Hand in Hand gehen.

Ein klassischer und würziger London Dry Gin. Handdestilliert unter anderem mit Wacholderbeeren, frischen Äpfeln, Kamillenblüten und Zitrusschalen. 
Ein London Dry Gin bedeutet nicht, dass er in London hergestellt wird - es bedeutet, dass nach der Destillation kein künstlicher Geschmack, Zucker oder Farbe hinzugefügt wurde. Es handelt sich somit um einen Gin, der sich durch hohe Qualität und gute Verarbeitung auszeichnet. 

Das Besondere an der Herstellung eines London Dry Gins ist, dass der gesamte Geschmack von den Botanicals stammen muss, die während der Destillation hinzugefügt werden.
Um das Prädikat zu tragen, dürfen keine Aromastoffe, Farbstoffe oder sonstiges hinzugefügt werden. Und der Zuckergehalt darf 0,1 Gramm pro Stück nicht überschreiten. Liter.
Es ist London Dry Gin, der den unverfälschten Geschmack von Wacholder mit einem Hauch von Zitrusfrüchten verleiht. Übrigens ist dies die Art von Gin, mit der die meisten Leute zuerst vertraut werden.

Tasting Notes:
Nase: Süßer Duft nach Kamillenblüten, Wacholder, Äpfeln und schwarzem Pfeffer. Herrlicher tiefer Duft nach Süßholzwurzel.

Geschmack: Süße Noten von Zimt und Fenchelsamen und einem Hauch von Eukalyptus und Fichte. Angenehm weicher Alkohol und langer süßer Nachgeschmack.

Botanicals: Wacholder, Apfel, Kamille, schwarzer Pfeffer

Der Geschmack des Herbie Gin Organic unterscheidet sich deutlich vom Herbie Gin Original, da dieser keine Süßholzwurzel enthält aber eine kleine und ziemlich freche Note von Sanddorn. 

Tasting Notes:
Nase: Angenehm leichter Duft nach Sanddorn und Wacholder. Sanddorn liefert einen natürlichen frischen Zitrusduft, den Sie an vielen anderen Orten nicht finden. Sanddorn ist als nordische Orange bekannt.

Geschmack: Leichter und vielseitiger Gin, der problemlos clean genossen werden kann. Die feinen Zitrusnoten von Sanddorn werden durch die Zitrone und eine wunderbare Wacholdernote ausbalanciert.

The three botanicals are distilled in different ways to achieve perfect distillates with the best possible flavour and taste. Coriander seeds in particular have many undesirable flavour elements that are removed during the distillation process.

Elg Gin No. 0 has a high content of coriander distillate, which is why the gin has distinct citrus notes. Elg Gin No. 0 is designed to be the perfect mixer for many different cocktails. It goes well with most tonic waters to create a classic G & T.

Elg Gin No. 3 is a “Navy Strength” gin. “Navy Strength” derives from the concept of “proof spirits”, a term which originated with sailors in the 19th century.

Elg Gin No. 3 is based on the same three distillates as Elg Gin No. 1. It contains 10% more alcohol than No. 1 and 34% more flavours, resulting in an even higher intensity in terms of both aroma and taste than ELG GIN No. 1. It has more citrus notes compared to No. 1.

Just like ELG GIN No. 1, No. 3 is designed to be the perfectly mixer for many different cocktails, such as Gimlet, which simply consists of equal parts of gin and lime juice and lots of ice, or as a G & T with Fever Trees Mediterranean Tonic and a slice of lemon.

The herbal gin is a classic spicy gin based on 8 botanicals, providing a harmonious and aromatic taste experience. 
The gin itself has a slightly bitter, spicy taste with notes of citrus. Copenhagen recommend serving it in a fresh version with apple, thyme and juniper berries. Top up with a classic tonic water with citrus notes.

Elg Gin No. 2 is an “Old Tom” gin. The term Old Tom comes from from Tom Chamberlain, also known as “Old Tom”, who was the master distiller and partner of Hodges Distillery at the beginning of the 19th century.

Elg Gin No. 2 is based on the same three distillates as Elg Gin No. 1, to which is added an alcoholic extract of juniper berries. Soaking dried juniper berries in 50% pure wheat alcohol for four weeks produces the extract. The result is a dark brown extract containing a wide variety of flavours and sweetness, which are removed in the distillation process.

Drink it neat, “on the rocks”, or enjoy it in drinks with ginger beer such as gin and stormy.

Mad Owl Gin Citrus ist ein erfrischender Mix aus Wacholder, Koriander und Zitrusfrüchten. Ziel war es, einen milden und süßen Gin zu kreieren, mit mehr hellen als dunklen Tönen.

Der intensive Geschmack bedeutet, dass es sich guten Tonic und sonst nichts macht, aber wenn es eine Party gibt, versuchen Sie es mit einem Zweig Rosmarin, etwas geriebener Zitronen- oder Traubenschale oder einigen Blättern frischem Basilikum.

Christmas Elg Gin is made from juniper berries, coriander and carrots. The green colour comes from the green part of the carrots, which has been soaked in alcohol. It contributes the green colour and a special taste. The label shows a moose with a red bow drawn by Donna Race donnarace.com.

Take a glass and fill it with ice cubes. Add gin and tonic. Press a piece of mandarin or clementine into the glass containing the gin and tonic. Garnish with another piece of mandarin or clementine.

Für die Herstellung von Sloe Gin wird 800 Gramm Schlehedorn per Liter fertigen Sloe Gin verwendet. Die Schlehedornbeeren werden Ende des Jahres beim Eintritt des Frostes geerntet, wonach sie 6 Monate zusammen mit dem Elg Gin No. 1 ziehen, der mit dänsichem Zucker gesüßt wurde. Dann wird der Saft davon gegossen und die Beeren werden gepresst.

I fordums tid. Længe inden menneskets ankomst, var øen Anholt grøn og der var endnu ingen ørken. En lille skovklædt forhøjning midt i Kattegat. Et isoleret og frodigt paradis. Dengang, som nu, boede der en skabning på øen, hvis fremtoning vil få hårene til at rejse sig på de fleste. Øen Anholt, den lille isolerede plet på kortet, huser nemlig Sandørentvisten (Labidura Riparia).

Den sagnomspundne Sandørentvist, i folkemunde kaldt ”Anholt-Skorpionen”, er et helt særligt dyr. Det er den største af de 5 ørentvist-arter, der findes i Europa og i Danmark bor den kun på Anholt. Den kan blive op til 4 cm lang og er således afbilledet i korrekt størrelse på Anholt Gin flasken.

Der findes mange, lange historier om Sandørentvisten, der ikke alle skal nævnes her. Dog må det nævnes, at der er forskel på form og størrelse af Sandørentvistens ”tang”. Hunnens tang er mindre en hannens tang og hunnen kikker efter hanner med den største tang når det er tid, at finde en mage. Der er også den finurlighed, at hannen har 2 penisser, der kan bruges i flæng. Det forholder sig dog sådan at ca. 90 % af hannerne er højrehåndede, hvorfor de fortrinsvis bruger den højre penis.

Hidtil har det været Han-ørentvisten, der har prydet den klassiske Anholt Gin flaske. Indholdet i flasken er lavet på tørrede enebær på traditionel og klassisk facon.
