Bareksten Spirits is built on the philosophy and creativity of Stig Bareksten, the Master Distiller at OSS Craft Distillery.

Due to long hours of daylight and warm days and cold nights, Norway enjoys what may be, the best conditions in the world for growing herbs and berries. In fact, 18 of the 26 botanicals used in Bareksten can be found growing around the Distillery. The base product of potatoes is locally sourced as every effort is made to ensure that Norwegian-grown produce is used. 

The gin is distilled in small batches which gives a very potent product with a sublime, fruity expression. Bareksten Gin is perfect with tonic water and, for sure, makes a perfect classic, Dry Martini. Bareksten Gin has a traditional base line but you will find hints of wild blueberries, lingonberries, rhubarb, elderflower, mint and an additional 20 different ingredients.

Nose: Pure aromas, floral and fruity with a subtle hint of juniper and citrus. 

Taste: Fresh and clear taste of juniper, fruits and spices. 

Body: Soft, pleasant and seductive, quite unique.
