This gin is distilled at Château de Bonbonnet in the heart of the Cognac region in France. 9 pot still stills are used here, which are approx. 50 years old and have a capacity of 25 hl. The base material is a distillate made from French wheat that has been distilled 3 times beforehand.
The same botanicals are used as for the Citadelle Original, only the number of orange peel is increased. These 19 botanicals are placed in oversized nets in alcohol for 5 to 7 days. This process is called "progressive infusion" and was patented by Maison Ferrand.
The gin matured for a month in very small, heavily toasted juniper barrels
