"This gin is simple in its black earthenware bottle, but catapults an incredible variety of different aromas at the first sniff. Cardamom, nutmeg and pepper. Spicy, intense aromas are accompanied by a subtle sweetness reminiscent of dried orange peel, candied fruit and cedar wood. On the palate, it absolutely lives up to the predicate London Dry Gin, as a dry tannin-like aroma stands out. However, this is skilfully integrated by sweet notes of caramel, cocoa and dark tobacco. Dry citrus notes develop on the palate over time, adding a welcome freshness to this force of flavours."
