The Pink Lady Gin is named after a famous Cape Town landmark, The Mount Nelson Hotel, known as ``The Pink Lady`` due to its salmon coloured exterior walls. A heavenly hint of Rose water is added to compliment the natural rose scent of the geranium plant.

Der Gin wird von Hand destilliert, in einer mit Feuer beheizten Alembic Destille mit Kupferbrennkessel. Das feine Aroma stellt die angewendete Dampfextraktion bzw. „vapour infusion“ sicher. Der Knysna Gin wird 12h destilliert bevor er seine 30 tägige Ruhezeit antritt. Das Ergebnis ist ein reiner, milder Gin.

However, the most important botanical here is a relatively unseen species of juniper, Juniper Procera (most gins use Juniper Communis), also known as African juniper as it only grows in the highlands of Kenya and Ethiopia. This different variety gives the gin a nuttier, earthier backbone. After distillation, the gin is bottled into stunning hand-blown bottles, also produced in Nairobi. A truly unique gin.
