In the eye of the storm, when gin & tonic suddenly became thé aperitif of the famous, the foodies and eventually just you and me, Copperhead hit the market hard by swimming against the stream. 

Where all the competitors were making Western Dry gins, Copperhead returned to the roots of gin and created a London Dry gin. Many ingredients were listed as options to create the ultimate gin and after a month-long process experimenting with different batches, they found the perfect balance of 5 ingredients. 

The first Copperhead gin was born and it was named Copperhead London Dry Gin, or The Original.

In the search of ‘the Elixir of Life’, Mr. Copperhead could not resist expanding the Copperhead family. With this came the Copperhead Black Batch. 
He was enchanted by the magnificent elder tree and the tales of witchcraft and life prolongation surrounding it. To stimulate the immune system, the gin is enriched with the pitch black berries of the Sambucus Nigra shrub, more commonly known as elder berries. Carefully balanced with Black Ceylon tea, this Black Batch variety of the Copperhead Original Gin recipe will pleasantly surprise your senses. 

Welcome to the dark side of gin. For the Black Batch, Mr. Copperhead used the 5 original Copperhead botanicals (juniper berries, cardamom, angelica, coriander seeds and orange zest) and enhanced it with Black Ceylon tea and the elderberry.

Together with the rise of Copperhead gin came the growth of bartending. In 2018 world-renowned bartender Marian Beke, owner of the Gibson bar in London, created Copperhead the Gibson Edition. Inspired by the classic cocktail Gibson Martini this edition is a unique savoury style of gin, thanks to the immense flavour palette. Added to the original 5 Copperhead botanicals are not less than 13 carefully selected spices traditionally used in pickling. These ingredients, among which are mace, pepper, cassia, bay leaf, ginger, allspice, fennel and dill seeds are joined by just a touch of eight-year-old Genever to complete this smooth and complex taste. 

The Gibson Edition can be used to add a pickled twist to cocktails or can be enjoyed with premium tonic water as your new favourite Gin & Tonic. Add a pickled garnish to finish it off.

Copperhead Gibson Edition

For the second edition of the Barrel Aged series, the classic gin in the well-known bottle rested for three months on unique Portuguese "first-fill" Madeira barrels. The result is a gin with a pink copper glow in the glass. In the nose it is enormously refined: fresh citrus and the warm sweetness of red fruit, figs and grapes meet the spiciness of nutmeg, coriander and - unmistakably - juniper. In the mouth, the recognizable flavor profile of the classic Copperhead Gin is enhanced with an increased complexity. A lush experience, where the botanicals of the gin form a harmonious whole with the light influence of the wood. The finish is warm and long.

The limited edition Copperhead Barrel Aged I has ripened for three months in only the best barrels from Pedro Ximenez, commonly used for making Sherry. These oak barrels produce a remarkably high sugar level but add a special twist to the classic Copperhead London Dry Gin.

Just like Copperhead Original, the process for Copperhead Non-Alcoholic starts by soaking the botanicals that give the typical Copperhead taste. After a unique fermentation process, high-quality extracts are added to round off the taste. This innovation creates a complex and surprising sensation in the mouth. Next the whole mixture is distilled in a sophisticated process in copper pot/column stills. The finishing touch consists of a blending of the purest spring water and refined distillates.

The result: an alcohol-free elixir of life with herbal taste infusions which is barely distinguishable from a real gin.

"The S72 ‘Legend’ Gin has been an established value in the world of gin since 2017. Six years later, the delicacy that sprang from the brain of ten-time world motocross champion Stefan Everts gets a completely new look: a bottle in the shape of the number 1.

The flavor – violet – has long been in the taste. But the eye also wants something. Stefan Everts had been toying with the idea of a new, striking bottle for some time. The ball really started rolling when he sat down with designer Troy Lee. The ten-time world champion, who had already worked with the designer in his career as a motocross racer, asked the American to design a new bottle. Troy Lee came up with the idea of a bottle in the shape of the number 1. A reference to the many first places that Stefan Everts achieved in his richly filled career (ten world titles, 101 GP victories).

“I am very satisfied with the end result,” says Stefan Everts. “This bottle really catches the eye. And I also like the link with my victories. In my career I always wanted to be the best. With my gin too."
