Dieser niederländische Gin wird mit dem für Gin ungewöhnlichen Basiselement Malzwein, hergestellt. Ebenso außergewöhnlich ist die weitere Zutat, nämlich die Blätter vom Koriander und nicht wie die ansonsten häufig eingesetzten Koriandersamen.Die Korianderblätter sowie die weiteren Botanicals wie Zimt, Lavendel, Kümmel, Zitrusfürchten, Vanille und natürlich Wacholder verleihen dem VL92 eine besondere Frische, gepaart mit einer angenehmen Süße.

Deze gin heeft een boventoon van rozemarijn en tijm. Een mooie balans van een groot aantal kruiden zoals koriander, jeneverbes, kaneel en kardemom en uiteindelijk een ondertoon van moutwijn.

Aan de fles van de Torine Gin zit een geschiedenis:
Vanaf 1911 tot 1970 maakte Van Toor, de Torine Gazeuse limonade die werd geleverd in een traditionele beugelfles. Die traditie zetten we met deze gin voort. Voor de Torine Gin is het etiket uit 1911 als uitgangspunt gebruikt en is nu dus in ere hersteld. Een speciale ambachtelijke uitstraling! Een mooie fles om te hergebruiken.

Der Black Tomato Gin kommt aus einem kleinen Fischerdorf namens Bruinisse. Der Gin wird aus schwarzen Tomaten hergestellt und ist zu 100% vegetarisch. Das Wasser, das für die Herstellung verwendet wird, stammt aus dem größten Nationalpark in Hollands Oosterschelde. Die verwendeten Tomaten stammen aus Italien bzw. Sizilien. Sie werden von Hand gepflückt und zerdrückt bevor sie mazeriert werden. Beim Black Tomato wird der Wacholder bewusst in den Hintergrund gedrängt und die Tomate hervorzuheben.

GESCHMACKSBESCHREIBUNG

Dutch Courage dry gin is distilled from Nine botanicals: juniper berries and iris root from Italy, coriander from Morocco, angelica, sweet oranges and fresh whole lemons from Spain, liquorice root from India, cardamom and whole vanilla beans from Madagascar.

The gin is distilled using a unique distillation method with separate distillation of each botanical so producing a fresh, complex and layered flavour from a total of 14 distillations.

Tasting notes:
The nose is clean with fresh citrus and earthy juniper notes and a beguiling hint of spice and vanilla. The balance of Zuidam Dry Gin makes it perfect for a refreshing Gin and Tonic or a perfect Dry Martini.
