Like this gin in wooden barrels, the recipe also matured. It shouldn't be too much juniper, it should be emphatically citrus-fruity and spicy and be supported by wood and vanilla tones. This is why this gin is based not only on juniper, but above all on the use of mandarins and cardamom and was then stored in a used rum barrel for several months. The double plus on the label stems from the fact that, like the anise, the alcohol content is 50% vol. turns out much stronger. Pure pleasure. But also convinces perfectly with ginger ale, because then many hidden nuances of the mixture come into their own.
Smell: Dominant tangerine, vanilla, subtle juniper, spicy cardamom.
Taste: A reflection of the smell, whereby the juniper gets through a little more than in the smell, especially in the finish mandarin peel and vanilla.
