The Radermacher distillery was founded in 1836. As the oldest distillery in Belgium, it can look back on a long tradition, because the secrets of the art of distilling have been passed on from one generation to the next for almost two centuries, thus guaranteeing the continued existence of typical regional products. The term “peket”, which comes from the Walloon dialect, describes a genever flavored with juniper berries and this product unfolds its full authenticity. The Peket 1836 (Alter Klarer) is a classic, pleasant and mild genever with a typical juniper taste. Color: crystal clear. Aroma: Fresh, slightly floral bouquet with a fine juniper note. Taste: Clear, mild and fresh taste with predominantly juniper notes. The Peket 1836 is preferably served pure in an ice-cold glass, but it is also very suitable as a base for long drinks (cola, tonic or orange juice) or cocktails.
