Der Name Qahwa leitet sich aus dem Arabischen ab und bedeutet Kaffee. Dieser bildet auch das Hauptbotanical des Dry Gins. Frisch gerösteter Kaffee aus Costa Rica vereint sich mit Kakaobohnen und weiteren würzigen Zutaten zu einem außergewöhnlichen, dezent bitteren Gin. In die Nase steigt der kräftige Duft von Kaffee, der sich mit den spritzigen Aromen von Orangen und Limetten vermischt. Auch auf der Zunge dominiert der Kaffeegeschmack. Hinzu gesellen sich Kakaobohnen, würziger Koriander und Wacholder sowie frische Zitronen und Orangen. Im langanhaltenden Finish zeigt sich weiterhin die starke Kaffeenote, die von der für Gin typischen Wacholderaromatik untermalt wird. Neben den Botanicals, die im Bouquet herausstechen, verfeinern auch Angelikawurzeln- und Samen, Pfefferminz sowie Ingwer den Qahwa Gin. Der Dry Gin wird nach alter handwerklicher Tradition gebrannt. Durch eine schonende fünffache Destillation im Wasserbad in klassischen Kupferbrennblasen kommen die vielfältigen Aromen besonders gut zur Geltung. Genießen Sie den trockenen und sanft bitteren Qahwa Gin am besten in Kombination mit einem guten Tonic Water. Für den perfekten Gin Tonic benötigen Sie ein großes Longdrinkglas, in das Sie einige Eiswürfel geben. Nehmen Sie je nach gewünschter Stärke 5 bis 6 cl Qahwa Gin, fügen Sie 4 geröstete Kaffeebohnen sowie etwas Orangen- und Mandarinenschale im Glas hinzu und füllen Sie den Drink mit etwa 20cl Tonic Water auf. BOTANICALS

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
First, the best skins of DOQ Priorat wines are selected and distilled to preserve the essence of the flavors of these famous wines.
The freshly cut botanicals are macerated in water and schnapps. After a while, it is distilled to create a concentration of herbs that form the basis of this gin.
This base is diluted with alcohol and water and then shaken vigorously, followed by a period of rest for months. The water is used from the natural Mas Baboixos spring, which rises deep in the shale layers, the typical soil of the Priorat countries.

Every ingredient and part of the process is 100% natural.
