The 33 botanicals come from all over the world and from our own garden. From dandelion, sage, thyme to allspice, wormwood, saffron, bergamot, etc. The choice was one of the most difficult decisions. Through experimentation, the Sterkstokers Distillery found out which herbs contribute to the intense taste even without alcohol.
Mandarin peels are roasted and dried. So that the astringency is beautifully transformed into a balance of fruitiness and bitterness. The dried roots of the iris form the "body" in the GINOO.
The production process takes place without alcohol. Alcohol gives the necessary flavor, but also combines with herbs to create new flavors during a classic distillation process. Think of juniper berries, which we normally don't like dried, but which form a wonderfully floral bouquet after distillation. Without alcohol and with taste!
No sugar is produced during the distillation. So no extra calories.
