A playful twist on a sloe gin, this gin uses our Signature recipe as a base and is aged with whinberries. We add a minimum of sugar syrup to ensure this rich gin remains sharp with bold, fruity notes.

Cat’s Paw Gin is inspired by traditional Old Tom recipes dating back to the 18th century. Distilled with 14 botanicals it balances spices such as cardamom and cloves with a sweet lemon, ginger and honey syrup. Sweet and peppery on the nose, while on the palette, sweet notes give way to a smooth, liquorice finish.

Inspired by the travels across Southeast Asia, The Train To Hoi An Gin delivers unusual notes from the botanicals, durian and betel nut. Balanced with exotic lime leaf, lemongrass and cardamom, the results are a sweet and fruity gin with a smooth and creamy finish.

Peach Melba Gin is inspired by warm, sunny weekends and is distilled with heaps of summer fruits including peach, strawberry, mango and raspberry. Sweet peach notes are balanced with punchy juniper and a hint of spice.

Ginavit is our take the take on the Scandinavian spirit Aquavit, with added juniper transforming the traditional recipe into a gin. Ginavit is distilled with classic aquavit botanicals dill and caraway, balanced with fennel, anise, citrus and juniper. The result is refreshing citrus on the pallet, giving way to a savoury profile with a full-bodied juniper finish.

It’s All Greek Gin was inspired by our Innovations Club member, Anna. She chose the botanicals olive, oregano and tomato for us to work with. We have taken these and balanced them with other ingredients such as lemon, peppers and orange to craft a herbaceous, savoury gin.

Ginception Gin is a collaboration between Batch’s Head Distiller and Ginception Bar. Given a brief of ‘summer’, our distiller has created a juniper forward gin with notes of juicy peach.

The Botanist Gin wurde von der Whisky-Destillerie Bruichladdich auf der Hebrideninnsel Islay in Schottland kreiert. Sein milder und runder Geschmack basiert auf 22 lokalen Botanicals. Der professionelle und hauptberufliche Forager, James Donaldson, sammelt die Botanicals noch heute von Hand. Er sammelt sie auf den Hügeln, in den Mooren und an den Küstenlinien von Islay, wodurch The Botanist seinen ganz eigenen Islay Charakter erhält.
Besonders wichtig für den milden und ausgewogenen Geschmack ist neben den Botanicals auch die außerordentlich langsame Destillation in der Lomond-Kupferbrennblase namens "Ugly Betty". Die Aromen werden je nach Botanical durch Mazeration oder durch Dampfinfusion gewonnen. Adam Hannett, Head Distiller bei Bruichladdich, vertraut dabei auf seine Erfahrung und Intuition ganz ohne High-Tec Equipment. Wann die optimale Temperatur erreicht ist, misst er zum Beispiel noch heute, indem er die Hand auf die Brennblase legt. Um den fertig destillierten Gin auf Trinkstärke zu reduzieren, wird Wasser aus der eigenen Quelle verwendet.

Traditioneller London Dry Gin aus einer Brennerei, die erst seit 2009 existiert. Grundlage für diesen Gin bildet ein selbst hergestelltes Destillat aus Roggen, in welches zum Wacholder u. a. Botanicals wie Orangen- und Zitronenschalen, Angelikawurzel, Lakritz und Mandeln hinzugefügt werden. Angenehmes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, geeignet als Everyday-Gin für solche, die es ein wenig herber mögen.
 
Tasting Notes:
Nase: Blumige, sommerliche Wiesennoten, gefolgt von weichem, abgerundetem Wacholder und pikanter Zitrusfrische.

Charles Tanqueray reiste in den 1840er-Jahren durch Frankreich und erkundete dieses Land voller Mysterien und dekadenter Traditionen. Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale ist das wohl köstlichste Ergebnis seiner Abenteuer.
