Ferdinand's Saar Gin Sansibar Edition
+ Schweppes Herbal Tonic Water

The limited special edition is a modified version of the Ferdinand Saar Gin. With 45% a bit more intense in taste and stronger. Unlike the original, botanicals such as rubinettes, quinces, lemon thyme, sloes or rose hips can be found in the limited composition. According to Andreas Vallendar, there are around 30 ingredients in total. In the base, a grain brandy was macerated by steam infusion with the herbs and finally distilled again using the pot still method. But what makes the Sansibar Edition such a special and rare variant? In addition to the highly aromatic herbs of the Saar region from our own cultivation and the exotic fruits, it is the wine fusion with the Riesling from the excellent slate layers of the Saargau. This wine has not yet been in circulation and has therefore only been used in the Ferdinand Saar Gin Sansibar Edition. Dorothe Zilliken gave the gin the highest honor by making her outstanding wine available for this wedding. Unlike the Ferdinand Saar Gin, only the 2010s are used here. Now it should be clear to everyone why we are talking about a rarity here. The master distiller Andreas Vallendar rounded off the whole thing with his masterful flair and launched a really unique excellent gin. Botanicals: rose hip, quince, Riesling, rubinettes, sloes, juniper, lemon thyme.
