The Mombasa Club Gin is to this day a nostalgic reminder of the spirit of these romantic adventurous pioneers of the glorious and epic 19th century English colonialism.

The Mombasa Club is a premium London dry gin with 41.5% ABV, although its formula dates back to the late nineteenth century.

Visual: bright and watery white, a vivid reflection of the purest London Dry style. Smell stage: The experts say that in a premium gin the botanicals should almost attack the nose. Such is the case with Mombasa, which has a strong juniper base that goes perfectly with the coriander and the spicy notes of cassia and cumin.

Gustative phase: we already know that it is not common to try a gin straight, but in this case it is worth sipping a small amount with a little water to appreciate its aromatic power.

BOTANICALS
The essence of locally blooming juniper, rosemary, fennel, pine sprouts, lemongrass earth extracted and especially figs and the combination of these botanicals from the remote Priorat mountains with lemon and orange peel from the southern Mediterranean of Catalonia.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
First, the best skins of DOQ Priorat wines are selected and distilled to preserve the essence of the flavors of these famous wines.
The freshly cut botanicals are macerated in water and schnapps. After a while, it is distilled to create a concentration of herbs that form the basis of this gin.
This base is diluted with alcohol and water and then shaken vigorously, followed by a period of rest for months. The water is used from the natural Mas Baboixos spring, which rises deep in the shale layers, the typical soil of the Priorat countries.

Every ingredient and part of the process is 100% natural.

Mahon gin is probably the first gin distilled in the Mediterranean, born nearly 300 years ago during the British occupation in our island, Menorca. &nbsp;&nbsp;In fact, at the request of both British and Dutch sailors in the local taverns encouraged Menorcan master craftsmen to initiate distillation of Geneva or Gin, creating in 1736 the unique recipe of Mahon Gin which Miguel Pons Justo, founder of our distillery,has kept under the name of ‘Xoriguer Mahon Gin’ until the present day.
 
Xoriguer is one of the few distilleries in the world which continues distilling using traditional methods and it’s recognised by European Union as being “Protected Geographical Indication” ‘Mahon Gin’. The peculiarity of our gin is based on its traditional methods using a combination of high quality agriculturural alcohol and hand selected juniper berries which have been rested for several years. The process of distilling Xoriguer Gin is called the one-shotmethod, which requires local firewood from the clearance and maintenance of Menorca forests, and sea water as a coolant.
 
The unique and singular character comes from a single distillation using copper stills dating from two centuries ago. Discarding the head and tail, our gin is made only from the heart of the distillation, after collecting and tasting, the result is a cristal clear gin with a unique character rich in the essential oils of juniper berries.
 
The final step of bottling and labelling takes place at our distillery in the port of Mahon, we continue to use traditional bottles, the design of which hasn’t changed since 1736.

Tasting Note:
A golden-orange colour with a subtle and pleasant orange smell. It maintains its essence when tasted, joining the fruit flavour, a tasty shot and a citric explosion. Very pleasant and recognizable, adding a distinctive character to every cocktail.
Highly recommended mixed with any Premium tonic, lemon or orange soft drinks. Ginger ale is a great option too.

This citric floral gin highlights an unprecedented powdery duo of violet and iris, given a modern edge by a dash of lemon and cherry blosom.

Its iconic color comes from Cliotira Ternatea flower, wich also gives to the gin a hearthy (almost mussy) flavour. When you change the ph (adding lemon juice or tonic), its color change from an intense blue to violet (ultraviolet was choosen color of the year 2018).

This Premium Toledan Gin has as its name 1085 to commemorate the historic milestone of this year in the city.
The idea emerged a long time ago when Orosio Gómez-Caro, the creator of 1085, decided to produce a distillate “to represent the almost centennial tradition of the Gómez-Caro family”.

Aroma: a classic beginning, with juniper and citric juices, drifting on to gentle but persistent cinnamon and cereal aromas 
Flavour: perceptible and apparent juniper, moving on to clear citric notes balanced with the dryness of the root . This contrast becomes obvious when, ultimately, the juniper flavour disappears but remains in the consumers memory 
Aftertaste: fresh, brilliant and aromatic which denotes the clarity of the distillate

119 is a Gin produced by Carmelitano Distilleries, in Benicasim (Castellón, Spain). Its name is based on the years that these distilleries are open (since 1896) when this new gin has been launched.

Tasting Note:
The final product is crystalline, with fragrances and flavors of juniper, cardamom and ginger and with fresh herbaceous notes. It is silky and balsamic on the palate, with a pleasant citrus aftertaste final.

The Mombasa Gin Club Colonel's Reserve is a special and limited edition as a tribute to this line of adventurers who led the British Victorian Empire into its most glorious time.

Colonel's Gin is made in the classic English style and has a higher ABV (43.5% vol.) And more intense aromas than its namesake. In fact, it contains seven botanicals that highlight caraway seeds instead of angelica, and the addition of calamus, an aquatic plant that usually grows in swampy areas. The Mombasa Gin Club Colonel's Reserve is made from a 4-fold distilled alcohol of the highest quality, which is used to macerate all plants for 24 hours. Then it is distilled again in a small pot that was designed and built by the London manufacturer "John Dore".

The distillate is then left to stand for 10 days before any further processing.
In this way, all the fine aromas in the Mombasa Gin Club Colonel's Reserve can be put together. A real London dry gin with a harmonious botanical fusion.

Der Name Qahwa leitet sich aus dem Arabischen ab und bedeutet Kaffee. Dieser bildet auch das Hauptbotanical des Dry Gins. Frisch gerösteter Kaffee aus Costa Rica vereint sich mit Kakaobohnen und weiteren würzigen Zutaten zu einem außergewöhnlichen, dezent bitteren Gin. In die Nase steigt der kräftige Duft von Kaffee, der sich mit den spritzigen Aromen von Orangen und Limetten vermischt. Auch auf der Zunge dominiert der Kaffeegeschmack. Hinzu gesellen sich Kakaobohnen, würziger Koriander und Wacholder sowie frische Zitronen und Orangen. Im langanhaltenden Finish zeigt sich weiterhin die starke Kaffeenote, die von der für Gin typischen Wacholderaromatik untermalt wird. Neben den Botanicals, die im Bouquet herausstechen, verfeinern auch Angelikawurzeln- und Samen, Pfefferminz sowie Ingwer den Qahwa Gin. Der Dry Gin wird nach alter handwerklicher Tradition gebrannt. Durch eine schonende fünffache Destillation im Wasserbad in klassischen Kupferbrennblasen kommen die vielfältigen Aromen besonders gut zur Geltung. Genießen Sie den trockenen und sanft bitteren Qahwa Gin am besten in Kombination mit einem guten Tonic Water. Für den perfekten Gin Tonic benötigen Sie ein großes Longdrinkglas, in das Sie einige Eiswürfel geben. Nehmen Sie je nach gewünschter Stärke 5 bis 6 cl Qahwa Gin, fügen Sie 4 geröstete Kaffeebohnen sowie etwas Orangen- und Mandarinenschale im Glas hinzu und füllen Sie den Drink mit etwa 20cl Tonic Water auf.
